I am going for a once a month blog. Wish me luck.
Our 24th Lights of Christmas Past went very well! We are now gearing up for our Valentine's Special! Looking so forward to getting your reservations in and sharing a great evening with you.
Beyond that, some of you may have noticed we have added a wing on the other end of thehouse and I am so happy to tell you the plan! Most of you know I have been living in the cellar of this old house. Well, that has posed a huge breathing problem for me. Many treatments later, my doctor said to get out! So I am building an apartment to live in! This construction project has also led me to gut the kitchen and remodel it! The kitchen wasdone for Christmas, and I am hoping to move into my apartment by my birthday, Feb. 2nd. No more cellar steps! My washer and dryers are now just outside the kitchen in a new utility room. So today I am hanging trim and later will be working on my new quilt for ny new room!

Wow Mandy! The kitchen looks amazing. I’m glad you are finally getting out of the basement 😊
Is that the original brick? It doesn't look like the photo I have from 1989. Is the mantle from one of the other fireplaces?
So excited to hear all that is being done. I was curious what the new wing was. Good luck with it all!
The kitchen and utility room are wonderful!! I can’t wait to see the apartment. I’m so happy for you!!!!
Oh we definitely will have to make a visit out soon. I know it has been so long. Our family expanded and we now have a toddler.
